Arunachal Governor Urges ITBP To Boost Border Area Development

Itanagar, Jan 10: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) K T Parnaik has called on the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) to collaborate with local communities and police forces to accelerate development in the state’s border areas under the Vibrant Border Village programme.

During a meeting with ITBP’s newly appointed Inspector General of North East Frontier Headquarters, Amitabh Gupta, at Raj Bhavan, the Governor emphasized that these efforts would not only benefit local communities but also contribute to the national interest.

Gupta, who recently assumed his role, made a courtesy visit to the Governor, as stated in an official release.
