Arunachal Prepares For Golden Pagoda Marathon And Bharat Lok Sangeet Utsav 2025

Arunachal Pradesh is gearing up for two major events in February 2025. The Golden Pagoda Marathon and the 2nd Edition of Bharat Lok Sangeet Arunachal Utsav. A coordination meeting, chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, was held to review preparations for both events.

The Golden Pagoda Marathon, scheduled for February 9, 2025, will take place in the scenic Namsai district. The marathon is expected to draw athletes and sports enthusiasts from across the globe, providing a unique opportunity to experience the state’s stunning natural beauty while promoting sports tourism.

At the same time, the Bharat Lok Sangeet Arunachal Utsav 2025, running from February 9-11, will celebrate the state’s rich cultural heritage. The event will feature folk music, dance performances, and indigenous traditions, aiming to foster cultural exchange and increase global awareness of Arunachal Pradesh’s diverse cultural heritage.

During the meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Mein highlighted the significance of these events in boosting tourism, preserving local traditions, and supporting the state’s economy. He emphasized the need for meticulous planning, efficient resource management, and quality hospitality to ensure the success of both events.

Mein also encouraged the involvement of local youth through the “Vocal for Local” initiative, allowing them to take an active role in organizing the events and showcasing indigenous culture and talent.

With both events fast approaching, the Golden Pagoda Marathon and Bharat Lok Sangeet Arunachal Utsav 2025 are poised to enhance Arunachal Pradesh’s profile on the global stage.
