Namchi, Jan 21 : The Maghey Sankranti Mela 2025 concluded on Tuesday, marking its eighth and final day in Jorethang. Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang attended the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest, accompanied by Krishna Rai, Former MLA.

Other dignitaries present included Raj Kumari Thapa, Deputy Speaker of the Sikkim Legislative Assembly, Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, Chairpersons, Advisors, Councillors, and senior officials from line departments.

The Mela, which commenced on January 14, 2025, successfully concluded, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Sikkim.
