Drugs Worth Rs 35 Crore Destroyed By Nagaland Police

Kohima, Jan 25: Nagaland Police have destroyed narcotics valued at over Rs 35 crore in two operations conducted in Dimapur and Mon districts, officials confirmed on Saturday.

The seized drugs, including brown sugar, heroin, crystal meth, Yaba tablets, cough syrup bottles, and opium straw, were disposed of by the authorities. In Dimapur, the District Drug Disposal Committee (DDDCD) incinerated drugs worth Rs 34.82 crore on Friday, while in Mon, drugs valued at Rs 22.5 lakh were also destroyed.
