In a major breakthrough, the Indian Army, including Assam Rifles, in coordination with Manipur Police and other security forces, has recovered 35 weapons, ammunition, and warlike stores from various districts in Manipur. The successful joint operations were conducted, in the hill and valley regions of Thoubal, Tengnoupal, Bishnupur, Churchandpur, Imphal West, Noney, Jiribam, and Kakching districts.

This achievement is a significant milestone in the efforts to maintain law and order in the region. The recovery of such a large cache of weapons and ammunition is expected to deal a major blow to insurgent groups operating in the area. Further investigations are underway.
