In a significant operation, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel, in collaboration with local police, arrested a notorious human trafficker from Radhanagar village, Madhupur PS, in Sepahijala district. Acting on specific intelligence, the forces raided the suspect’s residence and seized a country-made pistol, a magazine, and three live rounds of ammunition.

The arrested individual is suspected to be involved in multiple cases of human trafficking and trans-border smuggling.

In a separate operation, BSF troops in the Tripura Frontier seized 415 kg of Ganja and other contraband items worth ₹34.74 lakh, delivering a major blow to illegal activities along the border.

The BSF continues its relentless efforts to safeguard national security and tackle cross-border crimes.
