Manipur Police arrested an active member of KCP(MFL), Yumnam Suresh Meitei, also known as Thoungamba Mangang and Poirei Mangang (28), from Porompat Ayangpalli Road near the Old Modern College Gate under Porompat Police Station in Imphal East District. He was accused of extorting money from members of the general public, private firms, and government officials. During the arrest, authorities recovered several items from his possession, including ten No. 36 hand grenades, ten tubes launching, a two-wheeler, an iron ammunitions box in green, three mobile phones, a wallet, and a blue sack bag.

In a separate operation on March 4, 2025, security forces arrested two individuals at Kumbi Police Station in Bishnupur District. The arrested men, Huidrom Romen Singh (44), an ex-cadre of PREPAK, and Huidrom Naresh Singh (32), were found in possession of a 9mm pistol with an empty magazine and two mobile phones.

Another operation in Churachandpur District resulted in the arrest of Janggoulun Haokip, also known as Marco (19), along with the apprehension of three juveniles. All four, identified as cadres of the United Kuki National Army (UKNA) from Bethel in the center of Churachandpur town under Churachandpur Police Station, were involved in extortion, drug trafficking, smuggling, and the sale of weapons. Authorities recovered two pistols from their possession.
