Guwahati, Mar 7: A camera trap inside Dehing Patkai National Park has recorded a rare sighting of a Clouded Leopard (Neofelis nebulosa), a species classified as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List.

Known for its elusive nature, the Clouded Leopard inhabits the forests of the eastern Himalayas, Northeast India, and Southeast Asia. The sighting underscores the rich biodiversity of the national park and reinforces the significance of conservation efforts in the region.
