The budget outlines significant investments in healthcare infrastructure, including upgrading district hospitals and Bakin Pertin General Hospital with advanced medical equipment. The state will also introduce a digital health ecosystem, incorporating Ayushman Bharat Health Account Cards and telemedicine services.
Other notable initiatives include the creation of a Food Testing Laboratory to ensure food safety and the establishment of Nutritional Rehabilitation Centers in district hospitals to combat malnutrition. The government also aims to expand the Mukhya Mantri Nasha Mukti Yojana to address drug and substance abuse.
The budget further includes plans to build a State Cancer Hospital and establish Cancer Day Care Centres in all districts, while also ensuring security at health institutions through CCTV surveillance.
