The Dimapur Police, in a major breakthrough, have arrested an inter-state gang responsible for the robbery of a State Bank of India ATM booth in Kuda village, Dimapur, on February 20.
Dimapur’s Commissioner of Police, Kevithuto Sophie, confirmed that all five individuals involved in the robbery have been arrested, making it one of the first cases in Eastern India where all suspects have been apprehended. Sophie further stated that a comprehensive investigation would be conducted to uncover more details about the gang’s operations.
The Commissioner praised the Special Investigation Team (SIT) for their quick response, successfully arresting the suspects within three weeks of the robbery.
