Itanagar, Mar 24: Athletes from Arunachal Pradesh secured 13 medals at the IIS Sangai Cup 2025, held in Imphal, Manipur, from March 15 to 18. The team won three gold, four silver, and six bronze medals, demonstrating strong performances in various categories.

Gold medals were won by Taba Titung in the Cadet -60 kg category, Jatin Khamblai in the Junior -55 kg category, and Kentu Lap in the Junior -66 kg category.

The event witnessed participation from athletes across regions, with Arunachal’s performance being a highlight. Team officials and sports enthusiasts praised the medalists and participants for their efforts and dedication.
