In a successful joint operation between the 92 Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF) and Mizoram Police, a significant arms and ammunition haul was seized in Lunglei district.

Acting on specific intelligence, the forces recovered 6,200 rounds of 7.62 mm AK ammunition, 1,800 meters of Cordex, 600 detonators, 20 meters of safety fuse, and other equipment. The operation also led to the arrest of three smugglers.

Authorities are conducting further investigations into the seized materials.
