In a major anti-narcotics operation, Manipur Police arrested three drug smugglers involved in the transportation of illegal drugs along National Highway-02 (Imphal to Mao) in Imphal West District.

During the operation, security forces seized 461 soap cases containing suspected heroin powder, weighing approximately 5.5 kg, from the smugglers’ possession.

Authorities have launched a thorough investigation to trace the supply network and identify other individuals involved in the drug trade.
