Agartala, March 27, 2025: The Assam Rifles conducted a pre-recruitment training program at Radhanagar, designed to offer local youth a chance to serve the nation. This initiative culminated in the successful selection of five candidates as Agniveers.
The training began with a registration phase held from February 13 to March 22, 2024, followed by an intensive coaching program from March 26 to April 20, 2024. Assam Rifles ensured the participants’ readiness for the selection process by providing coaching, accommodation, and meals.
The Computer-Based Examination (CBE) for Agniveer was held on April 22, 2024, and successful candidates progressed to the second phase of coaching. This phase, starting June 3, 2024, focused on physical training to further prepare candidates. Ultimately, five candidates—Ruhit Debbarma, Dwip Das, Aniruddha De, Koushik Sukla Das, and Ajoy Debnath—successfully cleared the final selection process. This program underscores the Assam Rifles’ dedication to empowering local youth by offering them a platform to achieve their aspirations and contribute to the nation.
