Nagaland Health Department Launches Mobile Medical Unit For Kiphire District

Kohima, Mar 27: The Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department has launched a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) for Kiphire district to strengthen healthcare services in the region. The initiative was inaugurated at the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare in Kohima.

Principal Director of Health and Family Welfare, E. Motsuthung Patton, stated that there are currently 11 operational MMUs across Nagaland, each required to conduct at least 12 medical camps per month. He expressed confidence that the newly launched MMU, along with social protection interventions, would help address healthcare challenges and improve community well-being in Kiphire.
