Shillong, Apr 1: The Border Security Force (BSF) apprehended a Bangladeshi national near the Indo-Bangladesh border in East Jaintia Hills district on March 29, 2025. The operation was conducted by the 172 Battalion of BSF Meghalaya.

The apprehended individual was later handed over to the Police Post at Umkiang for further legal action.
