Gangtok, Apr 2: Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay met with renowned Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Basu and popular actors Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela at his official residence, Mintokgang, during their ongoing film shoot in Sikkim. The film crew has been in the state for a week, capturing scenes at various scenic locations.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister warmly welcomed the team and presented traditional gifts as a token of appreciation for selecting Sikkim as their filming destination. He assured the filmmakers of the state government’s full support to ensure the smooth progress of their project.

Anurag Basu, on behalf of his team, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister for his warm hospitality and praised the seamless coordination provided by the state government. He acknowledged the support that facilitated smooth shooting at different locations.

Actor Kartik Aaryan, who has been shooting in Gangtok and surrounding areas, was impressed by the enthusiasm of Bollywood fans in Sikkim. He thanked the local community for their support and extended special appreciation to the Sikkim Police for ensuring the security of the team, which helped them complete their work smoothly.

Actress Sreeleela, on her first visit to Sikkim, was captivated by the state’s stunning natural beauty, rich culture, and vibrant traditions. She described her experience as truly memorable, highlighting the breathtaking landscapes and the warm hospitality of the people.

The film crew has been shooting at iconic locations like MG Marg and Tsomgo Lake. Their project is expected to showcase Sikkim’s picturesque scenery, unique culture, and traditional architecture, further promoting the state as an attractive destination for filmmakers.
