Five Bangladeshi Infiltrators Apprehended In Assam, Deported: CM Sharma

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma confirmed on Thursday that five Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended and deported after being identified as illegal infiltrators. The operation was carried out by Assam Police, which successfully detained the individuals at the border.

The deported infiltrators are:

1. Md. Iman Miya

2. Md. Naim Ahmed

3. Miyazaki Muhammad Rasel

4. Abdul Kalam Miya

5. Md. Munna

CM Sharma praised the Assam Police for their efforts, stating, “Great work, team @assampolice.” This action is part of the state’s ongoing measures to prevent illegal immigration and enhance border security.
