Agartala, April 04, 2025: A total of six hundred and forty-seven male candidates have been recommended for appointment to the post of Constable in Tripura Police, Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted/Non-Ministerial), based on their performance in the written examination and personal interaction test. The selection has been made according to merit.
As per the recruitment process, these six hundred and forty-seven candidates have been selected against a total of six hundred and sixty-eight vacancies. The distribution of these vacancies includes three hundred and seventy-six for the Unreserved category, fifty-six for Scheduled Castes, two hundred and ten for Scheduled Tribes, and twenty-six for Ex-Servicemen. Among the vacancies reserved for Ex-Servicemen, fourteen were designated for the Unreserved category, three for Scheduled Castes, and nine for Scheduled Tribes. However, due to the unavailability of suitable candidates, the selection committee recommended only five Ex-Servicemen, including four from the Unreserved category and one from the Scheduled Castes.
Jayanta Chakraborty, Principal of the KTDS Police Training Academy and Chairman of the Selection Committee, announced the results and stated that all certificates of the recommended candidates, as mentioned in the Recruitment Notice, will undergo verification by the appointing authority.
Taking to social media, Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha congratulated the selected candidates. “Congratulations to all the selected candidates of constables (Men & Women) of Tripura Police! Your hard work and dedication have truly paid off. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors,” he remarked.
