Agartala, April 04, 2025: The Government of Tripura has issued a notification announcing major bureaucratic transfers and additional charge assignments in the interest of public service. The reshuffle, approved by the Governor, takes immediate effect.
Muhammad Sajad P., IAS, who is currently serving as the Director of Skill Development in Agartala, also holds additional responsibilities as the Mission Director of Tripura Bamboo Mission, Director of Industries & Commerce, and Managing Director of TIDC Ltd. He has now been transferred and posted as the District Magistrate & Collector of South Tripura District, Belonia. He replaces Pradeep K., IAS, who was holding the additional charge of this post.
Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav, IAS, who was previously the Municipal Commissioner of Agartala Municipal Corporation, also held multiple additional roles, including CEO of Agartala Smart City Ltd., Director of Urban Development, and Commissioner of TUDA. He has now been transferred and posted as the Director of Industries & Commerce, Tripura, Agartala. In addition to this, he will also take over as the Director of Skill Development, Tripura, Mission Director of Tripura Bamboo Mission, and Managing Director of TIDC Ltd.
Dr. Vishal Kumar, IAS, who is presently serving as the District Magistrate & Collector of West Tripura District, Agartala, will now also hold the additional charge of Municipal Commissioner, Agartala Municipal Corporation.
Vivek H. B., IAS, who is currently the Commissioner of Taxes, Tripura, Agartala, has been given additional charges. These include Director of Urban Development, Mission Director of Agartala Smart City Ltd., CEO of Agartala Smart City Ltd., Commissioner of TUDA, and CEO of Tripura Jal Board.
Kuntal Das, IAS, who is currently the Additional Secretary in the Government of Tripura’s RD Department, has been assigned additional responsibilities as the Director (Projects) at SLMC of the RD Department. She will also hold the charge of Mission Director, Swachha Bharat Mission (Grameen).
The orders have been issued by S.K. Debbarma, Deputy Secretary to the Government of Tripura, on behalf of the Governor.
