Shillong, Apr 7: Troops of the 4th Battalion, Border Security Force (BSF), Meghalaya, apprehended a Bangladeshi national near the international border in East Khasi Hills district on April 6.

The individual, identified as 21-year-old Md Ibrahim, was reportedly acting as a tout and was detained following specific intelligence input. The operation highlights the BSF’s continued vigilance and commitment to curbing cross-border illegal activities in the region.
