Shillong, Apr 7: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma showcased the picturesque Rhododendron Riot Trek in Upper Shillong through a social media post on Monday, highlighting the natural beauty of the trail located in the heart of the city.
Sharing his experience, Sangma described the 2.5-hour trek as a refreshing retreat into nature. “An adventurous morning trekking through the Rhododendron Riot Trek in Upper Shillong. This trek is about 2.5 hours in the heart of Shillong city and is an experience to behold with lush greens and glimpses of beautiful rhododendron flowers. A much-needed quietness from the busy city life,” he wrote.
The Chief Minister also emphasized Meghalaya’s abundant natural charm and encouraged residents and visitors alike to explore the state’s scenic landscapes.
