Bringing laurels to Assam, Rinku Sarmah a young boy from Assam has cracked AIIMS MBBS entrance exam by securing 8th position. Rinku is a student of Sai Vikas Junior College in Guwahati.

Rinku who did his schooling from Sainik School, Goalpara does not believe that there is a difference between brilliant students from the state board or Central board. “Brilliant students are brilliant everywhere. They can compete and excel everywhere and in any exam.”

Surprisingly, she has never opted for private tuition and secured above 90 percent marks both in Class X and XII exams. Inspired by ideals followed by his father Dr Atul Sarmah, Rinku said, “I want to serve humanity by becoming a doctor.”
