As a move to strengthen the party affairs from the booth level in view of panchayat, assembly and parliamentary election few months next, the Bharatiya Janata Party 39th Mebo Mandal in East Siang district on Wednesday organized a booth level party workers meeting which was attended by BJP district President, Tamat Jonnom, Mebo Mandal President i/c, Aku Borang, incumbent Mebo MLA, Lombo Tayeng, former MLA, Er. Ralom Borang and Dr. Dangi Perme(one of the MLA contender).

The booth level meeting of party workers was held under the Chairmanship of Aku Borang in which reports from Shakti Kendra level of Mebo Banggo-I, Mebo Banggo-II, Monnggu Banggo-I and Monggu Banggo-II was placed and discussed by respective president of shakti kendras. Speaking on the sideline of the meeting, district BJP President, Tamat Jonnom and Mandal President, Aku Borang informed all the party workers of 39th Mebo mandal to keep the national interest first, party interest in second and then self last at the lines of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, speaking on one voice, present MLA, Lombo Tayeng, former MLA, Er. Ralom Borang and newly joined BJP after quitting government service, Dr. Dangi Perme all said that, they will stay united to strengthen the BJP and each candidate will personally supports the one who gets party ticket of BJP, informed Indu Yommin, media i/c of 39 Mebo Mandal. Tayeng though being the present MLA having already won terms of election before also spoke out clearly that, he will support and stand with the one who gets party ticket even if he happens to miss the ticket. While Er. Ralom Borang who surrendered to contest against Tayeng in the 2014 assembly election when he missed the party ticket of Congress despite being the sitting MLA then, also echoed the same voice to let the ticket winner get elected unopposed. On the same line, Dr. Dangi Perme, who was otherwise being gossiped as tough contender against sitting MLA Lombo Tayeng, also made his intention and commitment clear. Dr. Perme said that, he too will not contest against the ticket winner and would always work for larger interest of the BJP party.
