BJP state president and Chief Minister Shri Biplab Kumar Deb on Monday asked the party members to strengthen organization’s base at grassroot level. He also asked the party supporters to work for the people and become good leader.

Addressing Srijani Unnayan rally organized by Yuba Morcha in the city, Shri Deb said, “BJP does not believe in family based politics or on recommendations. One needs to have the mentality of serving people to become a leader.”
“The average age of around 80 percent of the elected public representatives of the state is below 50 years—it’s good sign towards development of the state,” he said.

The Chief Minister also asked the party karyakartas, who are holding various posts in societies and corporations to give equal importance to party workers for strengthening the organization.
The rally registered massive gathering near Rabindra Sata Barshiki Bhavan Monday. Speaking at the rally Shri Deb laid emphasis on strengthening the booths so that BJP government can rule the state for the maximum period.
“In BJP, the general members also get opportunities to serve important position which is next to possible in other parties including CPI-M and Congress,” he added.

He also spoke on various steps taken by the state government for the development of the state.
“Over 2300 government jobs have been provided, a good number of job creators have come up and youths in large numbers becoming entrepreneur after formation of new government,” he told the gathering.
Shri Deb also stated that his government is working with an aim to drop the number of unemployed at zero and asked the party members to play positive role in this regard.
Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Verma, Agriculture Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, MP Rebati Tripura and Yuba Morcha state president Tinku Roy along with many other party leaders were present in the rally Monday.
