As a part of the various initiatives to motivate students and boost academic performances, an interactive session of students with resource persons from various fields was organized by the DDSE office here at Shiksha Sadan on Monday in Pasighat.

This motivational programme was initiated by DC Dr. Kinny Singh, wherein Class X and XII students from various Government Schools of East Siang securing 80% and above in last periodic tests were invited to attend the motivational session. The interaction programme was organized by the DDSE office, Pasighat under the “Mission 80% 2019”. 125 students from various Govt. Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools of the District attended.

DC, Kinny Singh, while interacting with students motivated the students to set higher goals adding that aim for 90% and above, “this is the right and most crucial time to put all out efforts to achieve your goals in life” . With only 90 days left for your board exams, make calendar for revision your academic results depends on sheer hardwork, discipline and competitive spirit.” She hoped that inspiring interactions and talks from resource persons will inspire and motivate them to learn tips and work harder to achieve and make their society and state proud of them.

SP Rajiv Ranjan Singh, IPS, during his motivational talk shared that hardwork in a disciplined manner along with cultivating the habit of reading will surely stand them in good stead all through their academic life and also later in their career. The IIT Alumnus also shared that cracking the civil services with tough competition has been possible due to perseverance and disciplined study habits. He also urged for developing some hobbies which will help as a stress buster and help them engage their spare time in a positive manner for all round personality development.

Commandant 5thIRBN,Esha Pandey, IPS, during the session dwelt on the empowering role of education, while also sharing various career avenues open to them. However, she added that constant hardwork is the key to success. She also added that habit of reading will widen your horizon and imagination. She also shared tips to beat exam stress and called for balancing studies with co-curricular activities for all round development.

Group Captain (Retd.), Mohonto Panging in his inspiring talk said that you all can reach your goal with consistent hardwork, and shared his journey from a rural school in Arunachal Pradesh to become the first fighter pilot from the state. He also motivated them to think out of the box and reimagine to be innovators, inventors and pioneers, entrepreneurs and to be inspired by lives of N.R. Narayanan, Soichiro Honda who contribute to the development and growth of the state.

WASE, Secy Gen. Joya Moyong Tasung also called the young generation to shun drugs, alcohol and intoxicants and make positive contribution to society.

Specialist Doctor, Dr. Keni Lego, Principal,Sainik School, Niglok,Lt. Commander Amit Kumar , EAC(APCS), Kamin Darrang, Dr. S.N. Jha, HoD(Geo) JN College also motivated the students.

The students were also taken to Elam Textiles Industry, College of Horticulture and Forestry(CHF), DC and SP Chamber.DDSEJ.Yongge extended his gratitude to all the resource persons for the face to face interaction and thanked the DC for her initiatives to improve the educational scenario of the district.
