The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B. D. Mishra (Retd.) donated towards the Armed Forces Flag Day fund at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar.

He said that the Flag Day brings to the fore country’s obligation for the welfare of the Armed Forces people and those who have given their day for the nation. It also provides us an opportunity to discharge our obligation towards the Indian Armed Forces, he said.

Appreciating the people for joining him in the benevolent gesture, which is an obligation of the nation towards the armed personnel who are guarding the borders to safeguard country’s sovereignty, integrity and honour, the Governor said that every penny of the contribution will go for the welfare of Armed Forces personnel. He urged upon the people to continue their goodwill towards armed forces.

The Raj Bhavan, Itanagar Armed Forces Flag Day Team collected contributions from RWD Minister Honchun Ngandam, Urban Development Minister Kamlung Mosang, Home Minister Bamang Felix, Sports Minister Mama Natung and Education Minister Taba Tedir, government officials, media persons and many others on the Day.
