Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) K T Parnaik on Thursday said that engineers play a vital role in the state’s infrastructure development, describing them as the backbone of progress.
Addressing the inauguration of a two-day capacity-building training programme for Public Works Department (PWD) engineers in Itanagar, the governor highlighted the importance of translating government policies into tangible outcomes on the ground.
He urged engineers to adopt innovative practices, uphold ethical standards, and incorporate modern technology to build a sustainable and future-ready Arunachal. The governor also stressed the need for integrity, quality, and accountability in all developmental projects.
