Deputy Commissioner Pooja Elangbam chaired the General Body meeting of the District Hospital Management Society today at the Conference Hall of the Mini Secretariat Complex in Bishnupur.

The meeting primarily focused on the upgradation of the District Hospital and its infrastructure. A comprehensive PowerPoint presentation covering the annual report and financial statements from 2022 to June 2025 was presented by officials. Updates on key hospital services, including OPD/IPD, Operation Theatre, and ICU facilities, were also reviewed in detail.

DC Elangbam assured full support from the District Administration to enhance public health services and emphasized the importance of improving infrastructure and service delivery. She also suggested measures for the efficient utilization and maintenance of hospital assets and urged all stakeholders to work collaboratively for the effective functioning of the hospital.

The meeting was attended by key stakeholders including elected representatives, SDO Bishnupur, Chief Medical Officer, Medical Superintendent, Secretary PRDA, President of Lions Club Bishnupur, DFWO Bishnupur, and local social workers.
