Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, along with First Lady Jyoti Bhalla, hosted the traditional ‘At Home’ reception at Raj Bhavan, Imphal, this evening as part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations.

The event was attended by Members of the Legislative Assembly, senior civil, police and military officials, eminent personalities, awardees, special invitees, and other distinguished guests.

In his address, the Governor extended warm Independence Day greetings to all and expressed appreciation for their presence. The programme featured the screening of video clips titled Harmony in Freedom and a choreography performance on Har Ghar Tiranga. The evening concluded on a cordial note with guests partaking in high tea.
