In a significant operation, joint teams of Manipur Police, CAPFs, and Army/Assam Rifles recovered 86 arms and 974 ammunition in Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal, Kakching, and Bishnupur districts.

Addressing a press conference at Manipur Police Headquarters, IGP (Intelligence) K.Kabib said “acting on intelligence, security forces conducted coordinated operations at multiple sites, marking a major breakthrough in restoring peace and security in Manipur”. This operation underscores state’s commitment to maintaining law and order in the state, he said.
