Dona Planet has always been one of the popular hangout places in Guwahati. Going strong since the last 10-11 years, the major attraction out here was CINEMAX but for some reason the franchise was scrapped off in 2013. However, this popular shopping mall introduced PVR cinemas in August 2015 and that was quite a relief for the movie buffs. Currently, Dona Planet is loaded with different options in the form of the newly launched Brooklyn Blues and Woking Mama. The latter offers some delicious Thai stuff BTW!
If you are a student, you certainly know about Food Villa. Located in Panbazar near Cotton College, this place is full throughout the day with people from every walk of life. Some of them come here to try out the different types of junk food and the others would either be more engrossed in taking a selfie or prefer having a casual talk in the name of coming here for food. It’s all fair, isn’t it? One of the major attractions out here is the “Drums of Heaven”, at a pretty convenient cost.
