The Assam government is commemorating the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign through widespread rallies and programmes involving citizens and government institutions across the state. People from various communities are participating actively to mark the event.

The state administration has directed all government and government-aided offices and institutions to take part in the campaign and promote the spirit of patriotism.

The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign was launched by the Government of India in 2022 as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The initiative encourages citizens to hoist the National Flag at their homes to strengthen their personal connection with the Tiranga. Over time, the campaign has evolved into a significant mass movement symbolizing national pride and identity.

This year, the campaign is being observed nationwide in three phases from August 2 to August 15, 2025.
